The Joy and Frustrations of Unpacking

Feb 13, 2021

I have achieved my lifelong (aka a few years) dream of color coding my books, complete with hidden fairies and some of my miniature book nook rooms I’ve built.

I may never be able to find a book again and I’m sure my library mentors are screaming.

but I don’t care because it looks amazeballs!

(Bottom shelves saved for series that can’t manage to have matching books because my brain will explode if I don’t keep a series together)
Note to self. If I ever move again, do not label 15 boxes as “hodge podge” and expect to ever find anything in those boxes.

You’d think with how many times I’ve moved in my life, I’d be better at labeling my boxes.

Still frigid cold here, but it’s all okay because last night,

I dreamt Susan Sarandon showed up at my door with a small posse, all carrying cats and dogs. She was answering a calling to go door to door, petitioning for 2 weeks of warmer weather.

You’ll be happy to know I signed the petition and I’m feeling pretty good about putting my faith in Susan Sarandon over a groundhog this year. Warmer weather to come!
