We have officially started house hunting! Although we’ve only seen about 4 houses now as some have gone under contract, some have decided to wait to sell, and some are worried about covid so don’t want people in their house, we’ve at least started. One realtor was very helpful, the other seriously lacked in the personality area and we got a real “I don’t want to be doing this” vibe from her. We have a new agent lined up for tomorrow who actually appears to be eager to work with us to look at several houses. Fingers crossed!
Also, I’m pretty sure I saw like 3 moose! But when Tyler looked he said they were horses. Sure, they were small and antlerless and corralled in a field, but I don’t judge the unfortunate moose souls.
I didn’t see and moose at a moose crossing though, but I did however see a chicken cross the road! You’ll be happy to know everything they’ve said is true, she did cross to get to the other side! And she made it!
We are getting all prepped for our thanksgiving dinner RV style. We got everything except the turkey breast. Since we don’t have an oven, we have to get creative with our turkey day feast, which means small breast in an instant pot. However, since most are going with small family dinners, apparently everyone has the idea to go with a small breast. Took us 4 stores to finally find one but we are set for our first holiday on wheels!
Temps are currently back down to freezing now but we are more prepared. Except our fridge freezes everything no matter what the temperature so that’s always an adventure. Took out a tomato the other day and it was frozen so solid, it could pass as a baseball in a pinch! And somehow temperatures like to drop during the day and raise at night on occasion despite not having and rain, snow or wind. Haven’t figured that out yet. But still on par with Utah temperature wise.
Roads here are interesting. A lot of curvy highways that seem to make Donovan carsick. Something we all need to get used to. But we are learning all the best pullover spots to get some air!
I got my first Vermont root canal! Which really isn’t that exciting but hey, it’s news. Root canals are pretty much the same in Vermont as they were in Utah and Florida. In case you were wondering.
Tomorrow more houses! Hopefully a winning one! Picture to show you what happens when the 70s devours a Vermont house.
